Baby G children’s boutique was created by Jenell Dolan a mother and avid lover of all things fashion. As what happens when you become a parent, Jenell's life changed completely the day her son was born.  Dealing with the idea of having to go back to work, find a good, affordable preschool and be away from her new baby became overwhelming.  She knew there had to be a way to raise her child while still having a career in the industry she loves. Originally from Buffalo, NY, she grew up in Fort Myers, Florida and has lived there for over 24 years.  As she and the baby began to travel to different places and see all these amazing clothes for kids, she saw just how hard it was to find the same children’s clothes that fit their style in the Fort Myers area. Seeing a need for not only “hip” children’s wear, but clothing that is both socially and environmentally sound. With a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising from Florida State University, she decided to take her experience and start a business that was all of these things and more.

With a love of art, music and fashion…Baby G plans on changing the face of children’s wear in Florida and beyond by devoting itself to finding the "coolest" threads around. Baby G fully supports independent designers with an eye for style. Nearly all of their merchandise is made in the USA and sweatshop free. Making a clear commitment to support the movement of more responsible buying.  And they are continuously researching the hottest brands and the softest fabrics so their customers are always getting the best.  “My inspiration is my son, he is the reason I was put on this earth and I want to channel that into a business all about love, life and creativity!”
